R. Kelly might feel like he’s trapped in a prison cell, but he’s in a better place than much of the country when it comes to being vaccinated … because we’ve learned he’s already received his second dose.
Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ … the incarcerated singer’s as COVID-safe as can be, after recently receiving shot #2 from the Bureau of Prisons at MCC Chicago, where’s he’s currently housed while awaiting trial.
We’re told Kelly got his first dose in January and the second this month, so he’s now fully inoculated.
According to the BOP … 63 inmates at MCC Chicago have been fully vaccinated so far, along with 128 staff members.
As we reported … Kelly tried twice, and failed twice, to get released from lockup during the early days of the coronavirus pandemic due to the risk of contracting the disease.
He doesn’t have to worry nearly as much about that anymore with a roughly 95 percent efficacy rate with the vaccines … but his trial still looms. It’s currently scheduled for September.
We reached out to Kelly’s attorneys, who declined to comment.
Jay Cutler & Kristin Cavallari Sued for Alleged Dog Bite
Jay Cutler and Kristin Cavallari let their dangerous dog roam free when the cable guy came by for an install, and it allegedly took a bite out of his hand.
According to a lawsuit the cable guy, Nathan Beam, filed … the exes are still the co-owners of 2 German Shepherds who were unrestrained at a Tennessee home in June 2020 when Nathan was there for the hookup.
Beam claims he completed the install and was ready to leave when one of the dogs — he believes its name is Kona — was in front of the driver’s side door of his truck.
According to Beam … as he bent over to pick up something off the ground, the dog bit him on his left thumb and fingernail and clamped down for several seconds.
He claims he did nothing to harass the dog, and afterward … Cavallari’s assistant came out, gave him a paper towel, and allegedly told him to leave immediately.
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
Beam’s blaming Jay and Kristin for failing to keep reasonable control of their dogs while he was there, and also claims they knew the canines were dangerous … based on old social media posts where she refers to the younger one, allegedly Kona, as a “#TrainedKiller.”
He’s suing for damages, claiming he suffered physical injuries and disfigurement along with mental anguish, and has lost wages because of the alleged dog bite.
A rep for Kristin had no comment. We reached out to Jay as well … so far, no word back.
Ex-Cop Who Shot Daunte Wright Arrested, to Be Charged With Manslaughter
Kim Potter, the Brooklyn Center police officer who fatally shot Daunte Wright and then resigned, has just been arrested … and she’s about to booked into jail and charged in his death.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension announced Wednesday agents took Potter into custody around 11:30 AM CT at the BCA in St. Paul.
The BCA says Potter will be booked into the Hennepin County Jail on probable cause for second-degree manslaughter … and Washington County prosecutors will soon file charges.
As you know … 20-year-old Wright was shot and killed by Potter Sunday afternoon in a Minneapolis suburb, sparking massive protests and riots. Potter’s body cam footage shows her yelling “Taser” as she’s holding her handgun, and she fires one deadly round. You also hear Potter on body cam saying, “S***, I just shot him.”
Police were trying to take Wright into custody during a traffic stop, after learning he had an outstanding warrant.
As we reported … Potter resigned from the police force Tuesday, effective immediately.
In a letter to Mayor Mike Elliott, Acting City Manager Reggie Edwards and Police Chief Tim Gannon, who later resigned, Potter said … “I have loved every minute of being a police officer and serving this community to the best of my ability, but I believe it is in the best interest of the community, the department, and my fellow officers if I resign immediately.”
Wright’s family has retained civil rights attorney Ben Crump, and loved ones openly wept and called for justice Tuesday during a super emotional news conference.
The BCA also says there is an active investigation into the fatal shooting.
Aaron Rodgers Gets Mushy W/ Shailene Woodley In Couple Interview, 'You're So Cute, Baby'
Aaron Rodgers and Shailene Woodley are officially that couple — the two got super mushy during an interview together at Disney, gushing over each other uncontrollably!!
The power duo — which went public with their engagement back in February — sat down for a couples questionnaire at Disney World earlier this month … and it didn’t take long for the sappiness to flow.
After the interviewer asked, “What is one thing that always makes you smile?” — the two pointed at each other and swooned.
“This guy,” Woodley said. “You,” Rodgers added.
Shailene continued, “Oh! You’re so cute, baby!” Rodgers followed up, “Yeah. You always make me smile.”
The lovefest didn’t stop there, though … when the two were asked how they unwind after a long day — Shailene said a bath and wine, which made Rodgers chime in with this nugget …
“I was going to say cuddle time …”
Shailene then admitted the two sing Disney songs together often … while Rodgers said the plan for their Disney experience that day was to basically make out all over the park.
Yeah … you wanna barf from the cuteness yet???
Black Army Vets Call for Police Reform Over Lt. Held at Gunpoint
The violent traffic stop of Army Lieutenant Caron Nazario has Black veterans demanding changes from law enforcement — reform to ensure Black soldiers aren’t treated like crap.
Several state commanders for the National Association for Black Veterans tell TMZ … something’s gotta change among police departments to avoid a repeat of the treatment Lt. Nazario got in Virginia … getting pepper-sprayed 4 times by cops barking orders.
The commanders, who all saw the incident as blatant racism, suggested different approaches — increasing racial sensitivity training, improving police department hiring practices, shifting police funding and more criminal prosecution of bad cops.
The Kentucky commander we spoke to wants to see funds for tanks and special equipment reallocated and invested into mental health services for cops, plus the creation of a citizens review board.
The Texas commander wants police departments to look closer at prospective officers’ intentions before handing them a badge and a gun, and added … the cops on the Nazario stop looked like they treated the Lt. that way on purpose.
As we first reported … Lt. Nazario’s attorney, Jonathan Arthur, says prosecutors have opened a criminal investigation into the incident. Once completed, Virginia State Police will submit their findings to the Isle of Wight Commonwealth Attorney for possible charges, or to a special prosecutor.
The NABVETS commanders all told us they don’t believe cops have a lack of respect for those serving our country — but do feel there was a lack of respect given to Lt. Nazario, who is Black and Latino, because of his skin color.
Britt Reid Charged W/ Felony DWI Over Crash Which Badly Injured Little Girl, Mug Shot
1:38 PM PT — TMZ Sports has obtained Reid’s mug shot, which the 35-year-old took after surrendering to authorities Monday.
11:15 AM PT — Tom Porto, the attorney representing Ariel and her family, said in a statement to TMZ Sports, “[The charge is] absolutely appropriate given the circumstances. Ariel will endure this every day for the rest of her life.”
11:06 AM PT — In court documents obtained by TMZ Sports, officials say Britt’s blood alcohol content in the moments after the crash was .113, well above the .08 legal limit.
In the docs, officials also say Britt suffered trauma to his groin in the crash that required emergency surgery.
Officials added they retrieved data from Britt’s pickup truck that showed he was going 82.6 MPH in a 65 MPH zone just seconds before the crash, and had reached 83.9 MPH at the time of impact.
The Chiefs released a statement shortly after the charge was filed, saying, “The Kansas City Chiefs organization remains steadfast in our concern for all who have been impacted by this tragic incident.”
The team continued, “Our prayers are focused on Ariel’s continued healing and recovery. The Chiefs are regularly in contact with the family’s designated representative during this challenging time.”
Britt Reid — Andy Reid‘s son and a former assistant on the Chiefs’ coaching staff — has been hit with a felony DWI charge stemming from his role in a violent Feb. car crash … law enforcement announced Monday.
In court docs, prosecutors said they’ve officially levied a “Dwi – Serious Physical Injury” charge on the 35-year-old. If convicted, Britt faces up to 7 years behind bars.
As we previously reported, Britt was involved in a bad 3-car crash near Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City back on Feb. 4 — just 3 days before K.C.’s appearance in Super Bowl LV.
Britt was accused of slamming his pickup truck into two cars that had pulled over on the side of the I-435 highway at around 9 p.m.
The collision caused serious injuries to a 5-year-old girl, Ariel Young, who was in a coma following the crash.
According to the girl’s family, Ariel remains in the hospital and has been showing signs of improvement … but “she still has a long road to recovery.”
Investigators say Britt had told them he had taken Adderall and drank before getting behind the wheel. They added in court docs Britt did not perform well during field sobriety tests.
Britt had been placed on leave by the Chiefs following the accident … but he’s now no longer employed by the NFL team.

Army Lieutenant's Dog OK After Choking on Pepper Spray in Traffic Stop
The four-legged friend of the U.S. Army Lieutenant who was repeatedly pepper-sprayed by a cop is feeling better after choking on pepper spray and struggling to breathe.
Lt. Caron Nazario‘s attorney, Jonathan Arthur, tells TMZ … Nazario’s pooch, Smoke, is OK after the scary incident, despite feeling the effects of the toxic chemical.
As you know, Nazario was pulled over in Virginia, pepper-sprayed and attacked … all over the fact he didn’t have a rear license plate. Smoke was in the backseat of the SUV during the incident, and one of the cops fired pepper spray at the Lt. four separate times.
The Lt. told the cops the dog was in distress, but they did not come to his aid.
The dog, who was in a kennel in the back of the SUV, eventually shook off the toxins. He did not need to see a vet.
As we reported, the officer who took charge has been fired and a lawsuit has been filed.
'Friends' Reunion to Use Opening Credits Fountain, Original Stage
‘Friends’ fans tuning in to the upcoming reunion special won’t just see some familiar faces, they’ll see familiar places too … including the famous water fountain and original set.
Sources familiar with production tell us the reunion was shot over the span of 3 days at Warner Brothers Studios last week. We’ve obtained a photo from the lot showing bleachers and equipment set up around the fountain where the show’s opening credits were shot.
Our sources say a live audience participated in the reunion, but it appeared they were mostly union extras, COVID screened and hired for the gig.
Production took things inside as well … using the show’s old stage to film parts of the reunion as well.
As for what was discussed in front of the cameras, that still remains a mystery … but we know all of the show’s stars — Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc — participated.
In fact, Perry sent ‘Friends’ fans into a frenzy Saturday when he quickly posted then deleted a photo of himself in a makeup chair with the caption, “Seconds before eating a makeup brush. Not to mention reuniting with my Friends.”
The special is set to air on HBO sometime in the next few months.
Black Army Lt. Held at Gunpoint and Pepper Sprayed During Traffic Stop
A U.S. Army Lieutenant was repeatedly pepper sprayed and physically attacked by a cop … all over the fact he didn’t have a rear license plate.
Lt. Caron Nazario, who is Black and Latino, was driving his Chevy Tahoe in Windsor, Virginia when cops noticed he didn’t have plates. You can see from the bodycam, the Chevy appears to be new and there’s a registration attached to the window. Once cops lit him up, he drove a little under a mile before pulling into a well-lit gas station.
It’s hard to watch. The cop with the bodycam is unrelenting … screaming at Nazario to get out of his SUV. At one point the Lieutenant says, “I’m honestly afraid to get out.” The cop barks back, “You should be!”
Nazario has his hands up in the air the whole time, but the cop is increasingly frustrated and then amps things up, pepper-spraying Nazario 4 times. His dog was in the back choking from the pepper spray.
Nazario is pulled out of the SUV and is sobbing as he’s ordered to the ground and cuffed. He claims one of the cops told him if he complained, they’d throw the book at him with all sorts of charges — obstruction of justice, eluding police, assault on a cop, etc.
The incident went down December 5, but the bodycam video was just released. Nazario has filed a lawsuit alleging a violation of his Constitutional rights.
It’s interesting … the younger cop who is watching as the other officer is barking orders seems uneasy, but ultimately does what his superior tells him to do.
